Over and over

Created for the Marriott Marquis Chicago at McCormick Place, this installation transforms handwritten text into texture, rhythm, and architectural space.

Commissioned in collaboration with Anderson/Miller, the large-scale work is constructed from CNC-cut acrylic mounted to a custom wood and metal framework. A handwritten phrase repeats continuously across the surface, shifting between language and abstraction depending on distance and perspective.

From afar, the piece reads as a flowing field of movement, light, and shadow. Up close, individual words and fragments slowly emerge from the surface.

Designed specifically for a large hospitality environment, the installation creates a moment of pause and reflection within a busy public interior. More at You Are Beautiful.
