Installed as part of the Hyatt Centric Chicago Magnificent Mile renovation, Today Is A New Day welcomes guests immediately upon entering the hotel.

Created to solve the challenge of an unusually tall lobby, the installation unfolds across two floors, pairing large sculptural words with layered handwritten phrases that encourage reflection, optimism, and connection. Rather than treating the architecture as a limitation, the artwork transforms it into the defining feature of the space, creating an experience that changes as guests move through the hotel.
