You Are Beautiful

You Are Beautiful was created as a reminder for everyone driving along Lake Shore Drive that kindness and connection are worth slowing down for. I was invited to bring this message to one of Chicago’s most visible spaces, and the phrase felt at home there. When I think about the meaning of You Are Beautiful, I think about the quiet power of seeing something positive in a place you pass every day. Public art can change how we feel about a city, when a space feels cared for, people care too.
